I dearly love Mick Ralph’s but they had to overdub many of his parts in most of this video, he was hacking it up pretty bad at that time.....age was not good to ol Mick. Howard carried him a lot the last time I saw Company live. But back in his hayday he wrote many iconic riffs and solos, and carried all the guitar work by himself in the 70’s

Listening to You Jeff Beck is like trying to embrace Universe. First feeling is a total love for every stroke you make. Then is a revelation like discovering all those musical giants got together inside of you and having fun doing this wild thunder of chords and exuberant crescendos and all that is just a baroque frame embracing the most precious unique jewel - your lyricism. Thank You. * * * * * * Sol: - I hear a keyboard and I think I saw the guy behind the keyboard for a second, but keyboard is not mentioned in the decryption. Seth: - Yes there is one. Sol: - Isn't that bizzarrre? Then on the end the keyboard player doesn't show up when they are making their bows. What do you think is going on? Seth: - Hired Gun. He was really low in the mix just to provide atmosphere. But yes, strange. Sol: - C’mon …providing atmosphere? That’s an essential element. You miss that and you can cancel the concert. That keyboard’s impute is very powerful in a sense of arrangement, because it was like there was no keyboard there - just an atmosphere - how many keyboard players can do that without making themselves into a main attention/center of music? I think this a falsifying history and it’s a case for a lawsuit if it’s done to someone who is a co-creator of this historical event?

I wonder why Steve King was on bass here. He quit his membership in 2007 and 2 weeks before wacken on DOWNLOAD Festival plays Geordie Leach the gig.

I grew up with B.C and Paul Rodgers must be my favorite vocalist. Not only because of his voice. But the way he combine being a front man, and at the same time work with the band . Not many do that, but only wanna be " the star " . ( I can hear the bassplayer uses some of the same frills that mr Burrel used ( as I learned alot of mr Burrel) But since Im a fanatic of Burrel . The this one uses the basslick in places that Burrel would not. Bureel mostly used frills in a way, place that didnt come in the way of the melody lines. But here put it anywhere. Of course its strong and cool. Could be only that Im being tradition and old fasion ?

I saw this show , the Who Else tour, at the Dallas Starplex in April '99, sitting in row 10 center stage. Same songs, same order....even same clothes. Blew me away.....I hadn't seen him live since the mid-70's with Jan Hammer .

Rodgers voice is almost too perfect. The players are flawless, but the music is boring, bland and uninspired. Regular pub rock. And a 59 year old singin' about a seventeen year old who drives him wild is kind of cheesy

I was 17 when Bad Company's straight shooter album came out, I wanted it so bad I stole it, ( not condoning theift here folks) I went straight home and indulged, all day every day. Paul's voice so unique, so full of soul serving vibrancy, moved me. Seagels made me cry, running with the pack gave me energy, silver ,blue and gold touched my heart, up down, inside out, Watching this made me smile and wistful for a better tomorrow and remembering how thankful I am to had grown in the ara of this Fantastic band. 💕

Interesting that he's always cited as being 'one of the top ten guitarists of all time'...when Clapton,Page and May say he's the best, I know where my heart lies. There's nobody better, the man stands alone.

Having just entered my 70th year and a music fan all my life, I have to say that Jeff is the very very best of the lot. Like him, like Clapton et al, when Jimi first hit the UK he set the world on fire, only to sadly flame out not long afterwards. Jeff has been with us over the past 7 decades and in that time has shown us to be the absolute master of the guitar. It's not for nothing that all of the major players of the era have given such praise to the man on his passing. He truly is the best in my eyes, and I love them all, but there's only one JB, nobody can get near to him. Such a distinctive sound, so clear. Wonderful concert with the man in his prime, accompanied by an incredible ensemble of musicians who would likely not get exposure were it not for him. He is a true master. RIP Jeff, thank you for everything, and a wonderful body of work left for generations to marvel at.

Still stunned and gutted after hearing the news...There will never be another one like him. The baddest of the badasses with such finesse and grace along with such intensity and ferocious power. He was a God amongst us mere mortals. We are blessed to have had him to listen to all of these years. Jeff Beck RIP
